He reportedly wanted some downtime following his high-profile romance and eventual split from Fast and the Furious star Michelle Rodriguez, but heartthrob Zac Efron may already be moving on from his ex.

According to reports, the actor has slowly begun to move on with his We Are Your Friends co-star Emily Ratajowski, who is best known for being topless in Robin Thicke's Blurred Lines music video.

And though Efron was reportedly attracted to Ratajowski after they initially met, he became smitten after she gave him the space he needed following his break-up.

"She has that exotic look Zac loves-Emily is a stunner. She's also a hard worker  and her focus is on her career, not partying like Michelle. Zac wanted quiet time after his big crazy fling and Emily gave that to him," sources told Heat Magazine.

However, despite his readiness to move on from Rodriguez, Efron and his new girlfriend are allegedly taking things really slowly for now.

"He likes her. She came into his life at the right time. They are hanging out a lot," the source said. "They are taking things slow. They don't want anything to interfere with the movie."

Efron and Rodriguez first created waved with their surprising romance after photos surfaced of them making out on a yacht in Sardinia over the Fourth of July weekend, but the romance reportedly fizzled after just two months.

Rodriguez appeared to hint on her Twitter as news broke of the split that despite reports, the relationship wasn't what everyone believed it to be.

"I'm always amazed when Holly weird takes a make out session & makes it an official dating situation. That's not reality just isn't sorry guys," she wrote August 21.

Prior to the fling with Rodriguez, Efron had been linked to his Neighbors co-star Halston Sage, as well as actress Lily Collins. He was previously in a five-year relationship with his High School Musical co-star, Vanessa Hudgens.
