Brielle Edborg has come a long way since the days she would record herself singing on Apple's music program GarageBand. Now, the 19-year-old is gearing up to release her debut album, Ready for War, under indie label AGP Records.

The album, which includes production from Grammy Award winner Ken Lewis and Boygnyus, will feature 12 songs aimed to make people dance.

"It's all pop," she told Enstars during a recent trip to New York City's Battery Park. "There are songs that you can totally rock out to."

The debut, co-written by Brielle, also focuses on a relatable theme - love. For example, on the lead single Avalanche, Brielle passionately sings about a deteriorating relationship that can't be salvaged.

"The whole album is mainly about fighting for love and doing what's right because of love," she explained.

The New York native, who began writing songs at 14, deemed Playing With Danger the most personal song on her forthcoming album. The track focuses on a person's struggle to stay away from negative temptations.

"For some reason it tugs at my heart strings," the singer explained. "And, it makes me the most emotional of all the songs."

The up-and-comer is fully focused on her album's unconfirmed release date and has even taken a semester off from the Big Apple's Fashion Institute of Technology to dedicate her time to it.

The fashionista, who performed during Andres Aquino's Couture Fashion Week show on Sept. 6, released her first video ever for her catchy song Catch A Star For You close to a year ago. The colorful video has garnered over half a million views on YouTube to date, without much promotion. Brielle is set to release the video for Avalanche on Nov. 1 with hopes that it will be even more successful.

Both Avalanche and Catch A Star For You can be purchased on iTunes.
