Two more athletes are being banned from the Olympic Games in London and this time it's because of the mandatory drugs test.

Greek world indoor high jumper Dimitrios Chondrokoukis, 24, tested positive for an Olympic-banned drug and Hungarian disc-thrower Zoltan Kovago,33, refused to take the test. The details were announced on July 26. Both players can no longer compete in the Olympic Games, which has its opening ceremony on July 27.

Chondrokoukis' father, who also acts as the athlete's coach, said on Thursday that his son tested positive for stanozolol, the banned steroid that was once used by notorious sprinter Ben Johnson in 1988, according to Yahoo.

"My son will not be participating in the Olympics leaving an unfulfilled dream," the coach said, making the athlete the second Greek player to be dropped from the London Olympics.

On the same day, Kovago was banned for two years by the Court of Arbitration for Sport because he "refused or failed without compelling justification to submit to sample collection after notification," the CAS said in a statement. Kovago is now unqualified to participate in the Olympic games, though he denied the charges - saying that he provided three samples within a four-day period around the time that the CAS mentioned.

The Hungarian Athletic Association acknowledged the decision made by the CAS, which cannot be appealed, but argued there is no material evidence of the violation.

Over 14,000 athletes from 205 Olympic teams will be competing at the London Games this year, according to the official site for the event.

The disqualification of both Chondrokoukis and Kovago follows Greek triple jumper Voula Papachristou and her explusion for the Olympics after she posted an alleged racist remark on Twitter. Fellow Hungarian disc thrower, Robert Fazekas, was stripped of his 2004 win also because of doping for failing a drug test.

The games have not even started and athletes are already being sent home before they can even show the world their physical strength.
