Last week country star Carrie Underwood announced that she and her husband, NHL player Mike Fisher, are expecting their first child. It didn't take long after for the 31-year-old singer to get into the spirit of motherhood, showing off her baby bump on stage when she performed at Ravina Festival in Chicago on Sunday.

"Such an amazing second night @RavinaFestival," tweeted Underwood that evening. "I really love the Chicago area & the audiences here! You guys rock! Can't Wait to come back!"

On Monday E! reported that Underwood had donned a pink and purple coral jumpsuit by Katherine Feiner. The fitted waistline of the ensemble accented her stomach and while a series of bracelets dangled from her right wrist, her left sported nothing but her wedding ring.

Underwood and Fisher have been married since 2010 and while their four years of marriage has led to a frequent frenzy of baby rumors, the singer had always insisted that children were something the couple were thinking about for the future, not the present.

That future is apparently now and Underwood chose to announce the news on Twitter last week on Labor Day, when she posted a pic of her and her current "babies," dogs Ace and Penny. "In honor of 'Labor' Day… Ace & Penny would like to make an announcement," Underwood had written, "Their parents couldn't be happier!"

The baby announcement received over 30,000 retweets and was favorites over 65,000 times.
