The upcoming Fox series based on the Carrie Underwood hit Two Black Cadillacs is still in the early stages of pre-production, but some have already begun speculating as to who will star on the show.

Country Superstar Shows Off Baby Bump

On Friday CMT took a stab at casting, suggesting Mad Men star Jon Hamm or perhaps the charismatic Jude Law as the show's cheating husband.

As for the wife and the mistress, CMT's Alison Bonaguro had a few things to say about that too. She claimed the mistress should be both "believable" and "likable," with perhaps Scarlett Johansson (Lucy) or even Jennifer Lawrence (Winter's Bone) stepping into the role.

Carrie Underwood Kicks Off 'Sunday Night Football' On NBC

While both of these stars are currently busy with film projects and unlikely to join the television drama, similar actresses could be kept in mind when it comes to casting.

CMT's picks for the wife are just as unrealistic. Kerry Washington already has her hands full on ABC's Scandal and Amy Adams could be considered far too big of a film star. This is Fox after all, not HBO, and even though the series is slated to be a "limited event," the attraction might not be strong enough to pull in such prominent names.

Deadline first announced the Underwood-inspired drama on September 4, with Jerry Bruckheimer set to produce and Warner Bros TV backing the project.

At this time, the show has yet to get a release date though it is likely to appear in 2015.
