While nothing is set in stone yet, it seems like Mary Jane Watson could be showing up in the next Spider-Man movie to try and help Peter after the death of Gwen Stacy in the last one. But with originally casted Shailene Woodley now knee deep in the Divergent series, who could take over the role?

Sony was going for the "next big thing" with Woodley and did a good job as the actress did break out soon after, but instead of with Spider-Man, it was with Divergent. Now they are searching for yet another "next big thing" actress and these two names could be on the radar:

First is Holland Roden, best known for her role as Lydia Martin on MTV's Teen Wolf. Roden doesn't have many film credits, with only one smaller film to her resume, but she has gained fame with the MTV series and being a supporting character on a big superhero movie could be that next step.

Roden also isn't tied down with any other project other than Teen Wolf, which makes her much more easy to sign on and be ready rather than some other actresses who have a set schedule up to 2015.

Another name is a recent starlet in blockbusters, Imogen Potts, who co-starred with Breaking Bad actor Aaron Paul in this year's Need for Speed. Potts may have made her debut in the racing movie but still is looking for that massive break into blockbusters. The actress has also shown up in this year's That Awkward Moment, Filth with James McAvoy, and will appear in the next Terrence Malick movie.

With Watson yet to be cast, both of these actresses are on the cusp of hitting the big time and could be on the radar of Sony to fill the role left by Woodley.
