Many fan favorite characters on Fox's Glee will be returning for the final season of the musical series, reassuring fans who may have assumed they wouldn't ever return.

Along with regulars like Rachel (Lea Michele), Kurt (Chris Colfer) and Blaine (Darren Criss), the series will bring back several beloved characters for the show's final 13 episodes.

Mark Salling (who plays Puck), Jenna Ushkowitz (Tina), Jayma Mays (Emma) and Dianna Agron (Quinn) are all returning as guest stars for the final season of Glee, E! News reported Wednesday. As the report noted, those four actors were not among the main cast who had been announced to be appearing in the final season.

The report says that Ushkowitz, Salling and Agron are set to begin shooting this month. There is no known information on when Mays will be coming back. Mays is currently a series regular on the CBS sitcom The Millers.

The four actors join the list of cast members set to appear in the final season, including Michele, Colfer, Criss, Matthew Morrison (Will), Jane Lynch (Sue), Chord Overstreet (Sam), Kevin McHale (Artie), Amber Riley (Mercedes) and Dot-Marie Jones (Beiste).

The final episodes are set to take place in Lima, Ohio where the series started, before they branched off into New York stories with Rachel, Kurt and others. According to spoilers for the premiere episode, Rachel, Kurt, Blaine, Sam and others will be back in Lima for various reasons.

Glee Season 6 is expected to begin airing in early 2015 on Fox.
