After attending an exclusive screening for the film Revenge of the Green Dragons, there is much that can be said depending on how much one can handle depressing stories.

Martin Scorsese Bashed At 'Wolf Of Wall Street' Showing?

The film stars Justin Chon (Twilight, 21 & Over) as Sonny who reminisces on his life as an immigrant while fighting to survive in New York in the 1980s. The story involves a number of violent acts, including gun play and beating people nearly to death- most of this involving children.

Sonny ends up joining the Chinatown gang called 'The Green Dragons' along with his brother where they learn how to take their rage elsewhere by committing their own acts of danger. One of these includes the kids learning how to shoot someone.

Martin Scorsese Future Movie Chatter

When Sonny grows up, he falls for a girl who gets caught up with him that leads to ill-fated destinies as well as counter-intuition when the main character comes to the realization of who he's become and what he must do about the people who made him the man he is.

Considering that this is a film produced by Martin Scorsese, naturally, that is going to spark a good haul of attention. And since a lot of Scorsese's movies tend to have massive bloodshed going on, it won't come off as a surprise in this film. So in watching this film, one must be prepared to witness some of the most uncomfortable acts that have taken place as well as the brutal reality on how people can be treated. There is also the questionable concept on what the 'American Dream' really is and what one will do to achieve it.

Audiences will also want to brace themselves for some twists and turns with tragedy- and possibly redemption.

Other stars of the film include Kevin Wu, Harry Shum Jr. and Ray Liotta.
