Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Khloe Kardashian and French Montana have decided to take a break from their relationship just before the premiere of Kourtney & Khloe Take The Hamptons.

Khloe Kardashian In Love With French Montana?

Apparently it was Kardashian who made the move to end things with the Pop That rapper, a source revealed to Us Weekly Wednesday. They said he needed too much attention and was a little clingy.

"They are on a break. The relationship got too heavy and Khloe needed to take a step back. She just wants time apart from him." the source said.

Another insider added, "It grated on her that he became so dependent on her."

On top of that, her famous family was a little hesitant to accept him. The second source said it was specifically her mother and manager, Kris Jenner, who consistently let Kardashian know she was not a fan of the rapper.

Her sister, Kim Kardashian and step-father Bruce Jenner are also said to have had their reservations that Montana was only using Khloe to boost his fame.

It might not have helped matters when he told Billboard magazine that he wanted "capitalize" off of the attention last month. But he then cleared up his statement and said it was misunderstood.

He recently made a cameo on the end of Keeping Up With The Kardashians and said that was just one thing he was willing to do for his then girlfriend.

"She supports me with everything I do. When it comes to her career, I don't think about it. If she needs me to do something, I do it.

Kourtney Kardashian's boyfriend, Scott Disick, also expressed his concerns about Khloe dating Montana in the Kourtney & Khloe Take The Hamptons trailer.
