After it was revealed on Tuesday that Chris Soules was getting in shape with help from his pal Cody Sattler, another friend is revealing how to win the new Bachelor's heart.

Former Bachelorette co-star Brian Osborne told PennLive.com that Soules will be a "great bachelor" on the show.

"I got to know him over the course of five and a half weeks and nothing over that time has led me to believe he would disappoint," Osborne said. "I know people say he's boring, but he's not the least bit boring. If he was boring we wouldn't be best friends. I think they made a fantastic pick."

So, how can ladies win the heart of the 32-year-old farmer from Iowa? "Don't go out of your comfort zone just to win a contest," Osborne said. "It's really not a contest. It's structured as a competition but if you treat every second you're with Chris like a normal relationship, things will work out in the end."

Osborne also said he thinks Soules is looking for someone to bring him "out of his comfort zone" and someone who is "down to earth."

Soules knows what he's looking for since he's been engaged before. ABC (via The Epoch Times) revealed recently the news, but that it doesn't scare him from looking for love again. "Heartbroken, Chris ended that seven-year relationship just months before he expected to walk down the aisle. Although his relationship with his fiancée was good, he didn't want to settle for 'good.' He wanted 'great.'"

The Bachelor is set to start in January 2015.
