After a number of celebrities became victims of a nude photo scandal this past month, a star from The Hunger Games spoke up about the situation since one of the victims happened to be Jennifer Lawrence.

McKayla Maroney Reacts To Questions On Nude Photo Scandal

On Thursday, ET Canada posted a live interview with Josh Hutcherson who's known for working alongside Lawrence in The Hunger Games series as Peeta Mellark. He talked about how unfortunate it is that something like this can happen to actors because they have their own lives.

"Actually I haven't talked to her, but I just think all that stuff is so ridiculous," Hutcherson said. "We're people too, man, we just want to live, we want to be normal people, it's not fair."

The actor went on about how people can view a situation like this when it's not something that should be made a mockery of.

"It's something you obviously don't want to happen to you and it's really unfortunate that it happens but, I don't know, I hate the way the world sort of views those sorts of issues," he said.

Hutcherson mentioned that he and Lawrence were kids when they started acting and that is the reason why they're in the entertainment industry- to act. But sadly, being a part of the business can come with public scandal, which the actor says is not fair.

Other celebrities who were alleged victims of the scandal include Kaley Cuoco, Aubrey Plaza, McKayla Maroney and Mary Elizabeth Winstead.
