The third season of Nashville is going to have a handful of drama that will involve Hayden Panettiere's pregnancy as well as Rayna finally making a choice between Luke and Deacon.

'Nashville' Creator Says Season 3 Is Going To Be 'Really Fun'

In an interview with Huff Post Live earlier this week that was published on Wet Paint on Friday, Connie Britton (Rayna) dished on what's to come, which will have some shocking moments.

"Season 3 of the show will continue to be very dramatic, lots of drama, lots of twists and turns," Britton said.

The actress went on about how the show makes an impact on art as well as how her character will develop.

"I think using Nashville as a microcosm of what's happening is modern media and how that's impacting the arts is a really cool thing," Britton said. "So we're also going to see my character continue and try to be a label head, continue to have the journey of trying to be a successful artist."

The actress also talked about Panettiere's pregnancy and how her character (Juliette) will also be expecting a child.

"She was a little further along when we started shooting this season than I think the writers realized because they basically had this season start off right at the end of last season," Britton said. "So we've been doing a lot of like, 'covering it with the handbag.'"

Britton also said that if she, personally, as an actress, had the choice between Luke and Deacon, she probably wouldn't choose either since one of them is married and the other is in a serious relationship.

Nashville Season 3 is set to premiere on Wednesday, September 24 at 10 p.m. ET on ABC.
