After being a reported victim of a nude photo scandal, Olympic gymnast McKayla Maroney has returned to social media with a new photo.

On Friday, the gymnast posted an image of herself on Instagram and Twitter where she wears a pink leotard in a selfie. She gives a slight smirk into the camera where her legs are exposed and she rests her arm back.

"another day, another leotard," she wrote for the caption.

This is the first thing that Maroney has posted on Twitter in almost two weeks ever since a leaked photo scandal took place this past month with a number of female celebrities. Maroney took to her page to post her thoughts on the situation where she mentioned that the images of her were not real.

"the fake photos of me are crazy!! was trying to rise above it all, and not give 'the creator' the time of day.. BUT..," Maroney wrote, adding in a picture of Jesus that says, "You Sir Need Jesus."

The gymnast added another tweet to her page to express her gratitude to all the fans who stuck up for her.

"shout out to my fans for defending me all day long.. even when things got weird u stood by me. and that meant the world," she wrote.

Other celebrities who were reported victims of the hacked photos include Jennifer Lawrence, Avril Lavigne, Aubrey Plaza and Kaley Cuoco.
