They aren't the first dating couple to make it onto a season of The Amazing Race but season 25 team Dennis Hour and Isabelle Du swear they will be something different when appearing on the show.

The couple believes that crossing the finish line won't be too difficult for them-because all of their qualities combined could make them some of the hardest workers on the show.

"We may not be the biggest team, but we're the scrappiest team," Hour said in a pre-race interview with CBS.

"And we're gonna scrap our way to the finish line," Du finished.

Part of their strategy to ensure they will make it to the end has involved a large amount of preparation going into the race-by using their love of the show as a weapon in their arsenal.

"We've studied every winner of the Amazing Race, we've read their blogs," Hour said.

"The interviews, the forums, we comb through all the forums," Du added. "I made a fake Amazing Race route for him to do and even filmed him so he could see what he looks like."

And unlike teams in the past, the two may be looking to make some great friends along their journey as well.

"We bring everything the other teams don't usually bring, which is our craftiness, our resourcefulness, our friendliness," Du said. "You know, every single season there's always a team who is like 'We're not here to make friends.' We're not going to be the team who says, 'Oh. We're not going to make friends.'"

But most importantly for the couple, who are both the children of immigrants from Cambodia and Vietnam, is winning for their families.

"Our motivation is that our parents are immigrants in this country, and they escaped a war-ridden country," Hour said. "And they were able to provide us with such a great life here, so this is something that we want to make them proud that they raised two great kids."

The Amazing Race season 25 premieres Friday, September 26 at 8 p.m. on CBS.
