CSI: Cyber will receive a visit from Beverly Hills 90210's Luke Perry.

Finlay Faces A Car Bomb, Russell Faces His Past In 'CSI: Las Vegas' Season 15 Premiere:

The 90210 will join the latest CSI venture as an ex-FBI agent named Nick Dalton, according to TV Line.

Dalton now works as a 'futurist' outside of the public sector, but he was once eyed for Special Agent Avery Ryan (Patricia Arquette). Intelligent and abrasive, Special Agent Ryan runs the Cyber Crimes division, a role that Dalton could have snapped up if a falling out hadn't resulted in his departure.

It is unknown if Perry is slated for a turn as a recurring character, but TV Line suspects he will return, particularly since he seems to know quite a bit about Ryan. If the series is aiming to elaborate on the lead agent's backstory, Dalton will definitely be the man to turn to.

CSI: Cyber received a backdoor pilot last spring courtesy of CSI's Las Vegas team. Expected to premiere at midseason, the new procedural will feature Arquette, James Van Der Beek, and Shad Moss.
