Some major relationship drama is set to be taking place in Salem these days, with some couples finally igniting the passion in their love lives, while others are set to see theirs potentially fizzle on Days of Our Lives.

Sami And E.J. Have A Major Relationship Breakthrough

Before his relationship with Sami (Allison Sweeney) has a chance at rekindling itself and becoming a true marriage again however, E.J. (James Scott) will find himself confronted at gunpoint-by his angry brother Chad (Billy Flynn)-who has returned to town after getting wind of his brother's relationship with Abigail (Kate Mansi)--and he isn't happy about it.

The brothers have always had a tumultuous relationship, but there was always a fierce loyalty there, which was proven when Chad previously took a bullet for his brother. However, learning his older brother had a passionate affair with his ex-girlfriend-while engaged to his soon-to-be wife-will force Chad over the edge, and it will take E.J.'s best efforts to keep his brother from pulling the trigger on him.

Kristen Learns Theresa's Secret

Meanwhile, Kristen (Eileen Davidson) finally has the edge over Theresa (Jen Lilley) when it comes to competing for Brady's (Eric Martsolff) affections. Though she was the one who had found the miracle drug that could bring his father out of a coma, she was still less likely to win him back because of the deal she made concerning Eric's (Greg Vaughan) testimony against her. She threatened not to hand over the drug unless Eric changed his mind about testifying-which he ultimately agreed to. Because of this, Theresa appeared to have the upper-hand.

However, after realizing that Theresa was actually the one responsible for John's (Drake Hogestyn) coma-not Brady-Kristen has the exact ammunition she needs to keep her enemy from reuniting with Brady once and for all. In a desperate attempt to get her way, she will seek out Daniel (Shawn Christian) and try to enlist him as an ally in her plan to take Theresa down.

Days of Our Lives airs Monday-Friday at 1 p.m. on NBC.
