When ABC's Castle comes back for its seventh season, Ryan (Seamus Dever) and Esposito (Jon Huertas) will be giving Beckett (Stana Katic) her space as she tries to get to the bottom of Castle's (Nathan Fillion) fiery car wreck.

Castle Season 7: Rick & Beckett Ready For The 'Time Of Our Lives,' May Mean Wedding Is Ahead

Huertas spoke with TVLine about what Ryan and Esposito will be doing at the very beginning of the new season, which picks up right where the Season 6 finale left off with Castle's car engulfed in flames.

"We're not about to let [Beckett] go by herself," Huertas said, "so there we are, in our tuxes - like a Latino James Bond with his Caucasian James Bond sidekick . . . It's hard to control a person when they're going through that sort of emotive state, so we let Beckett have her time. First and foremost, though, you want to make sure Castle either is or is not in the car - and we find out pretty quickly, as you can tell in the promo."

It seems that Castle will not be out of commission for too long as TVLine reports that he, Kate and the others will be going to a modern-day dude ranch. Casting is reportedly underway for such characters as a "muscular, sexy gay cowboy," a "rugged ranch hand" and a sheriff and his wife. This will take place in Episode 7 of the new season.

Castle Season 7 is set to premiere Sunday, Sept. 29 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
