Just weeks before BravoThe Real Housewives of New Jersey's Teresa and Joe Giudice's sentencing an insider has revealed they do not believe he will be deported back to Italy.

The source told Radar Online Friday that they were shocked to hear Joe say he doesn't think he will have to go back to his native country after serving his sentence in federal prison.

"It seemed like a foregone conclusion that Joe would be deported."

But that does not mean that he is completely out of the water just yet.

"Joe says there are issues with the mortgage fraud charges he pled guilty to that call the deportation into question. It won't be up to the judge if Joe is deported, but instead, will be played out in immigration court."

As for Teresa, she seems to be in denial when it comes to the idea that her husband could be forced to leave the country.

"Teresa is thrilled that Joe could be staying in the country, and doesn't want to listen to anyone that says otherwise."

In the meantime, the insider added that Joe and Teresa are trying to "lay low" and enjoy what could be the last moments they have together quite awhile.

They are both slated to be sentenced on Oct. 2. Their sentence hearing has already been postponed twice. It was originally set for July 8. But Joe's father suddenly passed away in late June so it was pushed back to September 23. However, just last week it was postponed once again to Oct. 2. It is not clear why they have decided to push it back another time.
