One of the most controversial pairs from CBS's The Amazing Race will be contestants on the new season of Survivor and the show's host appears to be confident in their potential success in the game.

New Survivor Contestants Would "Totally Vote Out" Their Loved Ones; Others "Couldn't Do It"

Survivor host Jeff Probst spoke with Entertainment Weekly ahead of filming on Survivor: San Juan del Sur this summer in a video just posted Monday. In the video, Probst discusses the inclusion of Amazing Race alums Nadiya and Natalie Anderson, a.k.a. "The Twinnies," suggesting that he enjoys them as characters.

"I love the sisters," Probst says in the video. "I think they're colorful. I like that they're twins.... I'm guessing that having somebody that has your back all the time like a twin does, allows you be a little more aggressive in life, and maybe walk through a door that you wouldn't walk through if you were alone. And if that assumption is true, then that means they have had a lot more life experiences at their age by virtue of being twins than they would have being not twins. And I think that's big life experience."

Spider-Man Actor Reed Will "Lie When Needed" on Upcoming Season of Survivor

Nadiya and Natalie will be split up on Survivor and Probst thinks that they aren't going to be as "annoying" as they are when they're together. He said that the twins aren't going to be a threat and they don't have to vote each other out.

"I actually think I would consider pairing with either one of them. I kind of find them fun to be around and if I'm going to be out here and be miserable, there are plenty of people on both those tribes I would get rid of before I would get rid of them just based on, you're going to bug me," Probst said.

Thus far, the Survivor fanbase has not been entirely kind about Nadiya and Natalie being on the show. A Survivor Facebook post centered on the twins is full of comments from fans saying they are "annoying" and hoping that they are voted out early.

Survivor: San Juan del Sur is set to debut Wednesday, Sept. 24 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
