Reign is coming back with some craziness in an extended trailer as well as some more baby rumors.

On Saturday, a new preview was released as Mary announces that the black death is upon everyone. As she goes on to explain how one can stay safe from it, Queen Catherine murmurs that they are far from prepared for what's to come.

Francis will also see Lola as she holds a baby boy in her arms and Mary admits that she tried to stop him from going to her. It also looks like Kenna might be one of the latest victims of the plague since she finds a young boy covered in blood where someone else looks like she's locking Kenna up.

There will also be some horrendous torture with reigns pulling someone's arms and legs where he's seen screaming. A mysterious little girl also makes an appearance who appears to be a figment of Bash's imagination. He asks he if she's dead where she tells him that there will be a reckoning.

Francis will also hold his child where he looks torn between becoming the baby's father and Mary's husband at the same time.

Some may be wondering if Mary will end up with a child of her own; in a TV preview from Entertainment Weekly, series creator Laurie McCarthy teased that some story like that could end up happening.

"What I can say is that her desire to have a child is very present," McCarthy said. "And that there's a lot of dramatic turns around that."

Reign Season 2 will premiere on Thursday, October 2 at 9 p.m. ET on The CW.
