This September, the CBS drama will part ways with its parent series and jump to Mondays at 10 p.m. After five seasons at 9 p.m., NCIS: LA now has the opportunity to jump into heavier fare thanks to a later billing.

"I expect every one of you to follow us to our new night and time," tweeted actor Miguel Ferrer (Granger) on Saturday. "Love Monday, and 10:00pm might let us spice it up a little. Who knows?"

Fans shouldn't worry, however. This "spice" won't cause the Shane Brennan-created series to loose its way.

"We won't disappoint the fans by changing it dramatically to fit the time slot," Brennan informed TV Line. "They're going to be relieved to know that it's the same show that they love."

Along with more mature content, Brennan believes the new schedule will also attract more well-known guest stars.
