The Fosters is about to find itself a new character for the last part of the second season played by another famous television actor.

Will 'The Fosters' Return For A Third Year?

On Monday, TV Line announced that Albert De Diego (Major Crimes) will be playing a program director named Rafael. He'll be nice, but over-worked, which will probably leave the characters and viewers to notice. And as it turns out, Rafael was also a foster kid at some point in his life. This gives the impression that he'll have a strong connection with the kids especially Callie since she goes to the facility that Rafael will be at.

As for how the rest of the stories will go, most of it remains a mystery. Ashley Argota, who plays Lou on the series, told Shine On TV that she's a 'Brallie' supporter although she doesn't know if the show will continue to movie in that direction or not.

Chatter On Callie & Jude On 'The Fosters'

"I don't know how it's going to play out," the actress said. "I love Brandon and Callie together, I also love Callie and the Fosters together so I don't know."

Even though she's not sure on what's going to happen next, she revealed that it will definitely be something that the fans can look forward to.

"It's going to really interesting," Argota said. "They are so incredible, those writers over there, I don't know how they're going to do what they do, but they're going to do a great job of it, I know that."

The Fosters is expected to return in early 2015 on ABC Family.
