Big Sean and Naya Rivera's short lived romance sparked a whole lot of controversy. Whether the two were seen snapping glamorous photos together in famed photographer, Terry Richardson's NYC studio or on a red carpet in LA, the two seemed truly happy. But, if anyone were to listen to Big Sean's newest song, I Don't F-k With You, listeners would hear a completely different story, right? Well, according to Big Sean, the song was written before he and Rivera broke up.

"I heard you got a new man, I see you takin' a pic/Then you post it up, thinkin' that its makin' me sick"

Big Sean raps on the DJ Mustard produced track. Naya Rivera got married to her longtime friend Ryan Dorsey three months after she and the G.O.O.D. music rapper called off their engagement. In true girl-of-the-21st-century-fashion, she posted pictures of herself and her new hubby to Instagram soon after, which is why everyone thought the song was about Naya.

According to Sean, it's not and everyone is over thinking it. In a new interview with MTV, the 26-year-old Detroit native revealed, "You know, the funny thing about 'I Don't F-k With You' is that I actually wrote that while I was in a relationship. I wasn't bitter."

He added, "I wrote that while I was with my ex." But only moments later, he did admit that when the break up went sour, he went back and tweaked a few words here and there. "Then, obviously, after a few things went down, I went back and changed a couple words - but, mainly, the song was already there," so there it is.

The newest addition to the Roc Nation roster seems to be a bit conflicted about why he released this song. If it wasn't out of anger, we sure couldn't tell.

Either way, he is happy with Ariana Grande now and Naya is happy with Ryan. All should be well.
