Daniele Watts, an actress from the popular film Django Unchained, is extremely unhappy with the LAPD. According to Watts and various sources, she and her boyfriend were kissing in the front of his car when police mistook her for a prostitute, arresting her on the scene.

Early Monday morning, pictures surfaced of the actress in tears, while standing in handcuffs looking completely embarrassed and humiliated. According to multiple reports, people around the couple during their steamy make out session thought they were having sex and called the cops. Allegedly, some thought the actress was actually a prostitute.

But, Watts told CNN that the story that is circulating and the police are completely wrong. She believes that she and her significant other were not doing anything that warranted arrest and that it was made mostly because her boyfriend is white, while she is black.

“If we're fully clothed, it doesn't matter how passionately we're making out. It's my right and my pleasure to enjoy myself. And I don't feel like I should feel ashamed for that or feel like I should have to apologize for that.”

To no one’s surprise, TMZ gathered and released audio of the interaction. Race, at a time when tensions are high all over the United States, was brought into play. Watts can be heard telling a police officer, “I bet there's at least one person up there who's a racist. I bet you. I bet you're a little bit racist.”

The officer on the scene, Sgt. Jim Parker, said that race had nothing to do with it. He asked for her ID and since she would not give it to her, she was placed under arrest.

Still, during a time of national outrage with police, this entire incident only adds more fuel to the flames of unruly officers. Watts is the latest to complain about the boys in blue. Earlier today (Sept. 15), she appeared on CNN to state what happened when she got arrested over the weekend.
