The film, which also stars Paul Rudd, will allow the actor to try on a whole new image on the big screen. "I play the former Ant-Man. I'm a professor and scientist... a mentor to Paul Rudd," he told The New York Post last Friday.

The actor, who is married to Catherine Zeta-Jones, also opened up to the site about his health ordeals, revealing that chemotherapy and radiation left him in a bitter state while he as battling tongue cancer.

He said, "I went through seven weeks of radiation and chemotherapy, which somehow seemed very accurately mapped to the seven circles of hell. Each week I sank a little lower and I felt a little - no, I felt a lot worse.

The actor added, "The doctors and nurses at Sloan Kettering had warned me not to expect to feel great the moment those seven weeks were over - that there would be another five weeks of feeling pretty awful until I could even hope to improve. All of that was enormously important. Like a soldier, I prepared for battle. ... It was my job to toughen up and get ready for the treatment and later on for my recovery, and that's what I was able to do."

Meanwhile, it looks as though Douglas finally has something to feel good about, as new reports are indicating that his son Cameron Douglas might be released from jail earlier than expected. Cameron is currently serving a sentence in connection with drug charges along with conspiracy to distribute narcotics while behind bars.

So far, Cameron has been serving his sentence since 2009 and is expected to be released in March 2017. He earlier had a 2018 release date.

A source close to Michael told Radar Online last Wednesday, "It's great news. Cam really isolated himself from everyone when he got into meth. He went to a dark place. But his family and friends are standing by him and hope he's serious about his recovering. He still has a chance to have a great life."
