Kim Coates, who plays Tig on the motorcycle drama, spoke with E! News recently and revealed that the final episodes of the series will be "sad," elaborating on the amount of death coming soon.

"We're wiping everybody out," he previewed. "It's a very, very sad season. It's nuts. It's a gnarly season."

The E! News report also reveals that Tig will still be standing by the ninth episode, though it is currently unclear if he will survive beyond that.

Coates' comments fall in line with costar Theo Rossi's (Juice) comments this week, with the actor telling Entertainment Weekly Radio that many characters are "not long for this world."

In other Sons of Anarchy news, another actor has joined the ever-expanding cast of the series. Arjay Smith, best known for his roles on Nickelodeon's The Journey of Allen Strange and TNT's Perception, is slated to guest star this season, according to Deadline.

Smith is set to play Grant McQueen, who is described as "a good, street smart kid who is trying to protect his mother." It is not known when Smith will be appearing, though based on the production schedule of Sons of Anarchy, he will probably be appearing in the last few episodes of the series.

Sons of Anarchy Season 7 airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET/PT on FX.
