Before Robin Thicke released Blurred Lines, he was a happily married man and father who sang his heart out for die-hard fans. Love and genuine talent were the things that set him apart from many of his soul counterparts and it seemed that though he was not a mainstream artist, he was happy with himself and his life. Now, especially with the latest release of his drug use confession in new court docs, he may regret the success of the hit song and possibly, even recording the song itself.

Blurred Lines soared to popularity because of its catchy chorus, somewhat offensive lyric content and the subsequent video that featured topless girls running around Pharrell, T.I. and of course, Thicke.

When initially asked about how she felt after seeing the video, Thicke's estranged wife Paula Patton told Access Hollywood that she respected her then-husband's "art." But, eventually art imitated life and Thicke ended up chasing after women off of the video set.

Now that Thicke is up to his neck in legal battles and heartbroken over a failed attempt to get his relationship back on track, the 37-year-old father may regret the attention Blurred Lines brought him. It seems that he could not handle it.

After the low album sales of Paula and his newest confession about using drugs to get through the interviews following his public break up, things are not looking too great for Thicke. But luckily for him, if this proves to be his lowest point, the only place he can go is up. Hopefully, what he is going through now will produce the great, heartfelt music he became known for.

Enstars wishes the best to Robin Thicke and his family.
