A new still from Fast and Furious 7 featuring Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel), seemingly digging up a grave was revealed on September 16.

What We Know So Far About Fast and Furious 7

Diesel posted the image on his Facebook account, which showed him in character with an axe over his head, in the dead of night in what looks like a grave yard. But the interesting bit shows a woman intercepting him and coaxing him to stop. Only the back of the woman can be seen, and it would most likely be either of female actresses in Fast and Furious 7 -- Michelle Rodriguez or Jordana Brewster.

This image ties in with the storyline of Toretto and his crew attending a funeral in the movie. Last month, Diesel had posted a still from the movie featuring Paul Walker, Tyrese Gibson and Ludacris at a funeral ceremony. All the actors are dressed in the custom black suits looking sombre at the occasion. The scene from which the still is culled had been leaked online late last year. In the clip Walker, who plays Brian O'Connor, says that this will be the last funeral save one, that of their friend's killer.

Paul Walker's Character To Get A Happy Ending In Fast and Furious 7?

Fast and Furious 7 will take off from where Fast and Furious 6 left off. Wan took over the director's role from Justin Lin, who announced earlier in the year that he will step away from directing the franchise.

The cast for the seventh installment reprising their roles include Diesel, Luke Evans, Gibson, Ludacris, Jordana Brewster and Michelle Rodriguez. UFC Womens Bantam weight champion Ronda Rousey and ONG Bak star Tony Jaa will also star in the film.

The 40-year-old actor was halfway through filming Fast and Furious 7.
