Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) isn't the only one on a warpath this season on The Originals. The CW drama will see plenty of violence all around.

Star Boasts 'The Originals' Is 'On Its Game' With Exciting New Season 

On Monday Entertainment Weekly revealed some new photos from the set. Images included a patient though menacing Ester, who has returned in the form of a young witch to cause trouble for her sons Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and Elijah (Daniel Gillies).

It seems Elijah will also be out for vengeance in upcoming episodes as tries to protect his family.

'The Originals' Films 'Rad' New Episodes In New Orleans 

A new picture from an upcoming episode revealed him stated alongside a bed of flowers behind a set of bushes. He's just killed one of Francesca's werewolves and has begun to remove the moonlight ring from his finger.

Last season, the moonlight rings were tied to Klaus' power, stealing his strength to empower the owners during each full moon. In order to take on the competition, the Mikaelson brothers will need to weaken their opponents, as well as return Klaus to his full power so that he may protect baby Hope.

During the Season 1 finale, Klaus sent his newborn daughter away to live with his sister Rebekah (Claire Holt) so that he could make New Orleans safe for her child's return. With so many enemies circling, Klaus will have a lot of ground to cover if he intends to reuinite with Hope by the end of the season.

The Originals returns to The CW for a second season on a new night Monday, October 6 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
