It looks as though this might be the first professional collaboration for husband and wife rockers Gavin Rossdale and Gwen Stefani. It is being reported that the British singer will be joining Stefani as a mentor on the upcoming season of NBC's hit singing competition show, The Voice.

Gwen Stefani To Replace Christina Aguilera

According to Reality Rewind on Tuesday, Rossdale will help Team Gwen as a mentor during the battle rounds. In addition, Alicia Keys will work with new judge Pharrell Williams, singing legend Stevie Nicks will lend a hand to Adam Levine and Little Big Town will be teamed up with Blake Shelton's team.

Just like in previous seasons, the mentors will be giving tips and advice to the contestants while getting a chance to work with their coaches.

Usher Wants New Coaches To "Follow His Lead" On The Voice

Meanwhile, it's been rumored that former coach Christina Aguilera is worried that Stefani might permanently take her place on the show.

According to OK! Magazine last Friday, Aguilera is having a hard time relaxing at home with her newborn daughter Summer Rain because she's fearful that she may no longer have a job on the show once her maternity leave is up.

A source close to the chart topper says, "Christina is extremely threatened by Gwen Stefani. She knows that if the ratings are higher on Gwen's season than they were on hers, the producers may have no choice but to ask Gwen to stay on."

What's more, Aguliera is also worried that yet another singer replace her on the show, too.

The insider added, "Christina's in a world of paranoia right now. She's also worried about Taylor Swift coming on as an advisor. She's ready to fight for her spot."
