It didn't take very long, but Jenny McCarthy  is admitting that she already lost the wedding ring that new husband Donnie Wahlberg slipped on her finger at their August 31 wedding.

However, she admits, the ring was only lost because she and Wahlberg were enjoying the hotel room they had while on their honeymoon in upstate N.Y.

"I've already lost the ring," McCarthy, 41, said on a local Fox program (via US Weekly). "We were staying in a hotel and you can't have a wedding ring on...it's a little hard to get romantic with diamonds on your hand. I removed it and put it on the room service table and they came and turned down the room and the ring was gone...But you know what thought? If you're gonna lose your wedding ring, you should lose it that way."

McCarthy didn't say whether she and Wahlberg had already replaced the ring, though she did reportedly replace it because she was spotted wearing one during New York Fashion Week, while getting her hair done at the Panasonic Beauty Bar at Salon SCK.

"She could not stop talking about how over the moon she was with her wedding and her life as a married woman," a source told People magazine. "She talked about how the reception wasn't too over-the-top."

And while McCarthy was getting her hair done at the salon, Carmen Electra also arrived, and the two reportedly began gushing over McCarthy's wedding ring.

"Carmen checked out Jenny's wedding ring, which Donnie had engraved with their initials," the source added. "She said it was one of the most beautiful things she'd ever seen."
