A behind-the-scenes picture from filming of season 10 of Criminal Minds, featuring Shemar Moore, who plays Derek Morgan, and Rochelle Aytes, who portrays Derek's girlfriend Savannah Hayes on the CBS procedural was revealed on September 16.

Thomas Gibson To Direct In Season 10 Of Criminal Minds 

The photo was posted on the show's "CM_SetReport" Twitter account and the duo are seen in holding on to their coffee in casual clothes. The caption for the picture reveals that the filming for the seventh episode of the tenth season if underway.

In a recent interview with the Huffington Post, Moore specifically spoke about his new relationship on the show.

"I'm grateful that Derek has a girlfriend. It's about time he got some! I'm glad the romance has shown new layers to the character. There are a lot of gems this season. This show is more character-driven than most procedurals."

He also spoke about the biggest star addition to the cast this season, Jennifer Love Hewitt.

"Jennifer Love Hewitt has joined our cast. She's great ... and has naturally and easily fit into the ensemble," he said 

The first promo video for season 10 of Criminal Minds was revealed on September 1, and its highlight a first good look at Hewitt kicking some butt with the BAU.

The actress, who plays Kate Callahan, the newest entrant to the BAU, is a striking new addition to the CBS crime thriller. In the clip, the team is pursuing a murderer who likes to hack off his victims' limbs and collect them. Kate is seen halting a car and nabbing a man at gun point. Hotch (Thomas Gibson) is seen talking to Kate, letting her know that he thinks she would be a "valuable asset" for the team, to which she adds, "I am like a boy scout." There is also a funny bit at the end of the clip, when she is seen asking David Rossi (Joe Mantegna) if they arrest the perpetrator could she do the honors, to which he says, "You might have to flirt for it."

The second and final part of the finale, Demons, aired on Wednesday, May 14 on CBS at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

Season 10 will premiere on CBS on October 1.
