Miranda Lambert has been out on the road since her new album Platinum debuted in June and the country superstar has a few keys to success when it comes to touring.

Miranda Lambert Can't Finish Singing After Meeting This Fan

On Tuesday Lambert told CMT dished on a few of the ways she makes life on the road work, some of which she learned from fellow artist Kenny Chesney.

"When I was on the Kenny tour, his crowd and his crew and his everybody has his spirit…" explained Lambert. "It's just his great spirit... and the love of relaxing and having a margarita leaks through the entire camp, therefore throughout the entire tour to the person on the back row of the stadium, and that's what's important."

Of course, Lambert admitted that a performer can't do it all alone, and so she enlists people that she trusts. "The people I'm taking on the tour this year are people I've been out with before," admitted the singer. "I'm kind of a creature of habit. I get real comfortable."

Regardless of where she and her crew go, Lambert works hard to make sure that "spirit" which matters so greatly exists everywhere. "A lot of it's about how it feels backstage, too," Lambert revealed. "Because as much as you say you leave it back there and don't bring it on the stage, there's a feeling about the whole package, the whole process and wheat it feels like."

For this reason, Lambert considers the overall tone of a tour to be crucial to her success. "A tour can have a whole vibe," she added. "I think the crowd can feel that."

Lambert continues her tour this month with a stop in Honolulu before hitting Las Vegas.
