Cheryl Burke has been a part of Dancing With the Stars since Season 2, but after the current 19th season, she may be retiring from the dance floor.

"It's so so hard for me to talk about because I have been part of this family for the last decade," Burke admitted to People, discussing her possible retirement from DWTS. "You've seen me grow up on TV, doing what I love in front of millions of people. But I also feel the need to expand and challenge myself and do other things - not that this isn't a challenge. It completely is!"

Burke started Dancing With the Stars at the age of 21. Now 30 years old, the two-time champion admitted that the series has been "life-changing" for her career.

"It's hard. What this show has given me has been life-changing. I owe my life to this show," she admitted.

Burke won with her respective celebrity partners during her first two seasons with the show. Since then, she has not been able to take home the Mirrorball Trophy, though she has gotten to the finals several times, most recently placing third with reality star Jack Osbourne in Season 17.

She is currently competing with soap star Antonio Sabato, Jr.

Dancing With the Stars airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
