ABC Family is preparing for Fall 2014 programming with the return of three favorite shows and the debut of a new series.

ABC TV Schedule, Including 'Scandal,' 'Grey's Anatomy,' 'Dancing With the Stars' & More Premieres

In terms of original programming, ABC Family is taking September off as networks and cable shows release their numerous premieres. The week of Oct. 21 will be a big one, though.

It all starts with the special Halloween episode of Pretty Little Liars. The Season 5 Halloween episode is titled We Love You to DeAth and is set to air Tuesday, Oct. 21 at 8 p.m. on ABC Family.

Pretty Little Liars will be followed by the series premiere of Freak Out. The hidden-camera series will air through ABC Family's famous 13 Nights of Halloween, starting with two episodes on Tuesday, Oct. 21.

The series is described as follows, per a network press release: "Each episode of Freak Out will feature an unsuspecting mark, whose fears come to life before their eyes with elaborate special effects, intricate makeup, twisted actors, and multiple cameras capturing the scenario from every angle. Every frighteningly hilarious prank is deviously tailored with help from the victim's friends and family to turn an everyday situation into someone's scary moment, until they realize they've been pranked."

Wednesday, Oct. 22 marks the return of ABC Family's popular comedies Melissa & Joey and Baby Daddy. Melissa & Joey is set to premiere in the 8 p.m. timeslot while Baby Daddy will air at 8:30 p.m.

Other ABC Family shows, such as Chasing Life, The Fosters and Switched at Birth are expected to return in 2015, though ABC Family has not announced official premiere dates.
