Movie star Ben Affleck revealed some more details on what it's like to be a press target and how it actually helped with him with his future film.

Affleck stars in the movie Gone Girl who finds himself in the middle of a media frenzy after his wife suddenly disappears. In an interview Details for the October issue, the actor talked about how he, himself, has had to deal with all the crazy attention due to the fact that he's married to Jennifer Garner, another movie star.

"I'm accustomed to all kinds of absurdity, so I expect that. No matter what," the actor said. "So I know some people will react in a ridiculous way. And I'm just at a point now where it could have been about anything, it could have been about the most painful thing in my life- which this doesn't happen to be- but to me it's just all about the director. Who you work with..."

Affleck seems to be aware that there's not much he can do about receiving a load of ridiculous questions from reporters, and sounds like he can accept that.

"Are people going to ask me asinine questions, from the press? You just can't get away from that," he said. "I can promise you that will happen."

The actor also talked about the rumors of he and his wife splitting up, which he refers to as "tabloid sh--."
