Not many can go head-to-head with Klaus Mikaelson (Joseph Morgan) on The Originals and live to tell the tale. Not only will Davila (Danielle Campbell) be going against Klaus this season, she will even prove herself to hold power over Klaus' even more monstrous father, Mikael (Sebastian Broche).

The Originals Cast Says They're Life 'The Brady Bunch'

In a recent interview with Buddy TV (featured below), Campbell dished on what it's like being potentially the most powerful being in New Orleans.

"Davina has grown up a lot. She is a lot stronger," revealed Campbell. "You know, first season she was kind of the pawn in everyone's game, but this season she's kind of taking charge of her own life."

Elijah Out To Save Klaus On 'The Originals'

The first few episodes will find Davina back in school and distanced from her coven. Wielding a might power over the newly returned Mikael, the young witch is out to "destroy" Klaus. However, it won't be so easy. Davina wants to protect her savior Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) and best friend Josh (Steven Krueger), both of whom are descendant from Klaus' line of vampires. She will have to break that tie in order to kill Klaus without killing them too, and this will be her big goal for Season 2.

During Season 1, Klaus not only attempted to kill Davina, he murdered the boy she loved and risked or threatened the lives of those closest to her. With vengeance on her mind, the witch will not give up without a fight.

Unfortunately for her, neither will Klaus.

The Originals returns to The CW for a second season on a new night Monday, October 6 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
