The upcoming seventh season premiere of ABC's Castle will be a tense one as Kate Beckett (Stana Katic) and company try to find Rick (Nathan Fillion).

'Scandal' Villain Set To Guest Star On 'Castle' In Season 7

The Season 7 premiere of Castle was viewed by TVLine and they released a series of teasers regarding what is going to happen as Kate (still in her wedding dress) tries to get to the bottom of what happened to Rick.

In the cold open of the premiere, according to the publication, Kate will actually begin to assume the worst as she tries to get closer to the fiery car wreck. The first seven minutes will reportedly be pretty action-packed as the chaos ensues.

'Castle's Beckett Set To Be 'Driven' In Premiere Episode As Significant Time Jump Occurs

At one point during the premiere, someone is discussing Rick and ponders, "Maybe there's a secret side to the man nobody knows?" Someone else apparently wonders if Rick actually had some "misgivings" when it came down to marrying Kate.

Rick does actually show up during the premiere episode, at the one-third mark of the episode, though TVLine notes that he will be showing up in an unexpected context. His disappearance will definitely be causing some headlines.

It seems that the person behind the mystery surrounding Rick's car wreck has "unlimited resources" at their disposal, which may be tough for Kate and the gang to overcome.

Castle Season 7 premieres Monday, Sept. 29 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
