Former Bachelorette Desiree Hartsock told Fox411 on Monday that she thinks Soules' season will be interesting.

"I think it will be interesting because of him being a farmer," she said about the pick. Soules is from Iowa and wants to stay there with his new mate, whomever she may end up being.

What Former Co-Star Says About New 'Bachelor' Chris Soules

Hartsock is currently engaged to her pick Chris Siegfried and the two are planning to get married in January. "We are open to having it televised," she said. "We'll see what happens there."

Soules' own season of The Bachelor is going to be on the air in January. She Knows revealed on Monday that Soules is set to start his journey in one week. The new Bachelor will also apparently travel to New Mexico to meet the new ladies.

Former Bachelorette co-star Brian Osborne told PennLive.com that Soules is anything but a "boring" farmer. "I got to know him over the course of five and a half weeks and nothing over that time has led me to believe he would disappoint," Osborne said. "I know people say he's boring, but he's not the least bit boring. If he was boring we wouldn't be best friends. I think they made a fantastic pick."
