The Blacklist fans better hold on tight - the series is planning at least two major cliffhangers during season 2.

Berlin To Dominate Early Season 2 Episodes, Locket Mystery Solved

The NBC drama is known for it's sudden twists and multilayered mysteries, and Red and his team will leave viewers in suspense following both the midseason finale and the post-Super Bowl episode on Feb 1.

"There's no question that on our show we attempt to turn things on their ear when we're able to," Spader told The Boston Herald. "You wouldn't have to be a wizard to realize in both those circumstances we're in a cliffhanger situation where, for very practical purposes, we're going to leave people curious and hanging. It's going to be very hard to predict how this season unfolds."

Fans will have to wait out the winter hiatus to resolve the first cliffhanger, but the Feb. 1 episode will resolve itself just four days later. The Blacklist will move to Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET starting on Feb. 5.
