Bravo's The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast members will have to wait a little longer to work out their differences on the season six reunion special as it has been delayed because of Teresa and Joe Giudice's sentencing date.

Joe Giudice Reportedly 'Crying' While Selling New Jersey Mansion

The network is said to want to wait until Giudice is sentenced before the ladies tape the reunion. Considering her and her husband's federal fraud sentencing has been pushed back twice, the reunion was postponed as well, an insider close to the production team told Radar Online Friday.

"They keep delaying it. They want to get her sentencing in. "They will continue to delay until she is sentenced. It was going to be filmed in September because that's when her sentencing was. They can use any excuse they want. But it's because they want the sentencing first."

'RHONJ' Cast Refuses To Let Bravo Tape Entire Florida Trip Because Of Heated Argument

Teresa and Joe's sentencing was originally set for July 8. But after the sudden passing of his father, Frank, the court pushed the date to late September. However, just days before the scheduled hearing, the reality couple's team requested another delay until Oct. 2. It is not clear why they wanted to push the sentence to another date.

The reunion is now slated to be taped on Oct. 5. Fortunately for Teresa, the source added that her cast members are not upset by the postponement.

The insider also added that while Teresa's legal troubles hasn't brought in as many viewers as the network thought, it still wants to complete the story.

"At the end, I think they want closure. They figure people will watch, but everyone will know anyway."
