On Friday, after wishing Pia Mia a happy birthday on Twitter, Mahone wrote "#FillMeIn premiere today!! #PiaMiaAustin" In late August, Mahone posted a pic with Pia Mia on Instagram teasing they were working together. "We've got something coming! Be ready. @princesspiamia" but fans didn't know that it was a song together until September.

Mahone just ended his summer tour in the United States and is next set to be finishing up his first full-length album.

"Right after the tour, I'm going back to Miami and I'm going to start working on [my album]," Mahone told J-14. "Now, I'm just working with a bunch of different people. I'm going out to LA for a couple weeks, to get a little something from everyone, and then we're just going to go from there."

"We have awesome songs lined up and a lot of good people I'm working with," he also revealed to the Daily Tribune Music. "I'm probably going to stick with pop for the most part," Mahone said, "but I'll try some different styles, too. I'm gonna jump out to a little more EDM, maybe some R&B, different stuff like that."

First, though Mahone will be making a special appearance after Saturday's New York Mets Game in Queens. Mahone will be performing a concert at Citi Field right after the game versus the Houston Astros.
