Hannibal's production machine kicked into high gear on Monday, and the first Italian-themed episode title was released.

The season 3 premiere title will be "Antipasto," series creator Bryan Fuller announced.

"FIRST DAY BACK IN #HANNIBAL SEASON 3 PRODUCTION OFFICES," Fuller tweeted alongside a photo the episode 1 title page.

Penned by Fuller ("Mizumono," "Tome-wan") and Steve Lightfoot ("Mizumono," "Su-zakana"), the premiere will be directed by Vincenzo Natali ("Naka-Choko," "Su-zakana").

When viewers reunite with Hannibal (Mads Mikkelsen), it will be one year after the devastating events of "Mizumono." Esconded in Italy, Hannibal and Bedelia Du Maurier will have created a new life under assumed aliases.

Will Graham (Hugh Dancy), on the other hand, will still have an eye out for the serial killer. Who he will be working with, however, is still unknown. Over the first four episodes, views will find out who survived the "Mizumono" massacre, and whether or not Jack Crawford (Laurence Fishburne), Abigail Hobbs (Kacey Rohl), or Alana Bloom (Caroline Dhavernas) are still in the land of the living.

"The entire first half of the season is relatively FBI-light," Fuller told Entertainment Weekly. "It's all about the pursuit of Hannibal. ... The first episode is very much like a pilot for a new series starring Mads Mikkelsen and Gillian Anderson."
