It's that time of the year again for fans of Beauty and the Beast who should be prepared to vote and pass multi-angled verdict on season 2 of the show. On September 23, it was announced that voting was now open for The Beastie Awards for season 2.

The awards feature various categories like the funniest scene, villain you love to hate, favorite episode, worst episode, most shocking moment, and heartbreaking scene. The awards were revealed via the Twitter page of the show.

It wasl also revealed that fans might have to wait just a little bit more for the DVD release of season 2 as it is expected to be out sometime next year.

New Couple To Play Role Models For Vin-Cat In Season 3 

Filming for season 3 of The CW series is currently underway. Stuart Gillard, the director of the show, had announced that shooting would begin on August 28. This has been followed by the director gushing about how much he loved filming in New York and being on location for the CW show.

The executive producer of the CW series, Brad Kern, has also spoken about the what fans can expect from the next chapter of the show in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter.

Kern revealed that season 3 would focus on Catherine and Vincent's love.

"Now that we have the loyal audience, the goal is to make it more Cat-Vincent centric," he said. "We'll continue to build the mythology. Everything else will service and work around that love."

In an interview, Austin Basis, who plays J.T. on the show, spoke about how his relationship with Tess would play off of Vincent and Catherin's relationship on the CW series. He suggested that the couples will have more to figure out as they navigate a steady love life with the grave dangers that surround them. Basis suggested that this will also push them to work independently more as a unit of two.

"Everyone's kind of been a team of four and now they are two teams of two. I think that will be fun to see," he said. "Learning from the mistakes of the path that we've gone down before, the writers and the show to stick to the heart of the show about Vincent and Catherine and their romance and how their romance is tested."

The season 2 finale, Deja Vu aired on The CW at 8 p.m. on July 7.
