It looks as though LuAnn de Lesseps has a lot of drama going on both on and off screen these days. The Real Housewives of New York star founds herself in a rather awkward position while another heiress reportedly "threw a fit and screamed" at the reality star during a Hamptons party over the weekend.

According to Page Six on Tuesday, heiress and writer Bettina Zilkha allegedly screamed at Lesseps over dinner seating at a birthday party for broker Debbie Loeffler.

A witness tells the website, "The party was very crowded and there were not enough seats. Bettina had a plate of food and wanted to sit, but LuAnn said the chair was taken and her date had just gone to the bar. Bettina then yelled right in front of the crowd, which included Katie Couric, Whitney Fairchild, Martha McCully and Steve Kroft. She threw a fit, waving her arms."

Zilkha responded to the allegations, telling Page Six, "I had been sitting in that seat and I got up to get some more food, then I came back and she [LuAnn] said, 'You can't sit there.' It was a little strange, but it wasn't a big deal. It was a misunderstanding."

So far, Lesseps hasn't commented on the reports.

Meanwhile, there have been reports that Lesseps might be getting her own spinoff show.

According to gossip blog Naughty by Nice Rob back in August, Lesseps is no longer under contract with Bravo and other networks have been vying to get her signed on with a new reality show. So far, she's received a lot of offers to do her own Martha Stewart-type lifestyle show. However, insiders close to the reality television star might hope that Bravo will sign her back on full-time as Real Housewives of New York has seen its ratings plummet this season.
