One of the actors from Star Wars: Episode VII has spoken up on what it's like to be a part of the film with hints on what fans are about to witness next year.

'Episode VII' Will Be Explored 'In Deeper Ways Than Ever Before?'

On Tuesday, Entertainment Weekly posted an interview with Oscar Isaac whose part in the film is unknown at this point. When he was asked if he's had any interactions with the original trio (Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher), the actor said that he has on and off screen.

"They're such funny people," Isaac said about the three actors. "Carrie is hilarious and doing such cool work. Harrison is back. He went on hiatus for a little while, but he's 150 percent back. It's pretty amazing to see him bounce back. He looks incredible. Everyone's having a really good time."

'Episode VII' Casting Chatter

The actor then gave some more information on the kind of tone that director J.J. Abrams is creating for the film as well as some possible details on the Stormtroopers.

"There's a lot of enthusiasm and it's being done with a lot of heart," Isaac said. "There's nothing cynical about the way we're doing this. Even in the way he's shooting it- he's shooting on film and actually building the sets, so you've got hundreds of Stormtroopers or whatever and hundreds of extras and all the ships. You actually see it. It's all real. Everyone can interact with the world."

Star Wars: Episode VII is expected to hit theaters on December 18, 2015.
