"There's not much I can say about it because I read the script, I acted in the movie and I still don't understand it," laughed McGraw in an interview with Rolling Stone on Friday. Starring George Clooney, the science fiction project is probably McGraw's largest-scale film to date.

"It's a huge production," the star continued, "There's a lot going on. All the stuff I hear back, it's going to be spectacular."

Starring alongside Clooney, McGraw will play a rocket scientist's father in the Disney picture, which is set to hit theatres in 2015.

"I get a lot [of scripts]," McGraw explained, "It's just finding the right thing for the right time. It's got to be something that moves me. As an artist, you've got to have a visceral reaction. If you have to think about it, it's probably not the right thing."

Of course it helps when you've got a great cast, which the singer admitted her certainly does. "I get to work with some great people," he explained in regard to a film directed by Bird, "That ugly guy, George Clooney, that's who everybody at my house wants to talk about!"

McGraw's latest album, Sundown Heaven Town, came out on September 16 and for those waiting to see the performer on the big screen, they'll just have to wait for Tomorrowland to come out in theatres May 2015.
