Aside from Joe and Teresa Giudice's fraud sentence holding up the reunion taping for The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Joe reportedly demands $30,000 to appear on the Bravo special.

Teresa & Joe Giudice's Sentence Postones 'RHONJ' Reunion

An insider told Radar Online Monday that Joe understands how vital his presence during the reunion would be, so he plans to capitalize off of it.

"If Bravo doesn't want to pay him as much, he just won't be there."

The source added that skipping out on the reunion would not be a bad thing for the father of four who is facing 47 months behind bars.

"It actually would be a relief for Joe if he didn't have to appear on the hsow, because it always involves so much drama."

Still, it isn't clear if Joe will be able to tape the reunion even if he desired to considering he could be sent to prison just after his sentencing.

The insider went on to say he is "hopeful that he wouldn't be remanded into custody on Oct. 2, and will be given a date to turn himself in at a later time. After the Christmas holidays would be ideal."

On top of the reunion drama, Teresa has learned that she will not be able to make cash from her high profile interview after her sentence. According to the site that was her plan until Bravo reminded her she signed a contract for host Andy Cohen to do the first interview.

"Andy has the first right of refusal under Teresa's contract with Bravo...Obviously, Andy and Bravo know this will be ratings gold, and wouldn't pass up the chance to interview Teresa one-on-one, after she is sentenced on October 2."

Teresa is looking at up to 27 months in federal prison.

The couple pleaded guilty to several fraud charges in March.
