It may seem crazy that a former Spider-Man villain could be reappearing again in Sinister Six, but it could be a possibility since he is right now technically locked up in a cell somewhere in New York City and has been contacted about joining.

Will One Sinister Six Member Build An Army To Fight Spider-Man?

The Lizard, portrayed by Rhys Ifans in The Amazing Spider-Man, is another possibility for the Sinister Six team. At the end of the film, Curt Connors was contacted in jail by a mysterious man linked with Norman Osborn (Chris Cooper) who could lead to the formation of the Sinister Six.

Josh Wilding of Spider-Man News speculated a few weeks back about what would make the return of The Lizard so interesting and he came to the conclusion that making him become savage would be an interesting route to go.

Could A Staple Spider-Man Character Be Shown In 'Sinister Six?'

Wilding said that while The Lizard that we got in Marc Webb's 2012 reboot was mostly quite intelligent, it would be interesting to see him evolve into his more savage persona with an appearance like the one seen in the image above (something which a lot of fans are still disappointed they didn't get the first time around).

This would add a very interesting wrinkle to the movie as the rest of the team find themselves fighting side by side with an uncontrollable monster, and depending on whether they fight Spidey or among themselves, it's hard to find a downside to Lizard's inclusion.

Having The Lizard go through this arc would make for an satisfying conclusion to the tale that was started in the first film rather than just him rotting in jail anyway.

Sinister Six is set to open in theaters on November 6, 2016.
