Actress Seana Kofoed signed on as the psychic named Madame Isadora who will reveal a lot of what's to come for many of the characters, CBS Soaps in Depth reported.

"Will she offer an ominous warning of death and destruction... or a more hopeful outlook that could include romance?" the website teased.

Kofoed, 44, - known for her role in ABC's Men in Trees - will first appear on Friday, Oct. 17 and for a few episodes to follow.

The popular CBS soap opera also recently announced a new head writer and executive producer - Charles Pratt, Jr. Pratt, who is expected to start his stint with the series in November, has worked on several other shows, including All My Children, General Hospital, Melrose Place and Twisted.

The television writer quickly updated his bio on Twitter to feature the new position and also retweeted a congratulatory message from a fan. "@ChuckPrattJr Welcome to @YandR_CBS and @CBSDaytime Looking forward to seeing your work. Have a great day!!" the fan wrote.

Pratt also retweeted another fan who showed excitement for the future of Melissa Claire Egan's character, Chelsea Newman. "@ChuckPrattJr & @MClaireEgan are going to be reunited!!! Can't wait to see what unfolds! #YR," the fan tweeted.
